A tribe once implored the Sultan for protection from its neighbors' raids. The Sultan graciously received its gift of its princess and deployed his iron army to march on the tribe, conquering it before its neighbors could. The princess who lost everything saw through the Sultan's capriciousness and never would she again place her hopes in him. The Sultan soon tired of this frigid consort. She is forgotten in a quiet corner of the harem. In silence, she wilts.
