Text:

You restored Sirshana's ancient kingdom, revived the title of "King," and consigned "Sultan" to the dust of history.

Yet as king, you could not mold the kingdom to your will. Every move was watched by a council of nobles from old world. Behind your throne, they built a small chamber with walls of pure gold. You addressed the court while they whispered commands at your back.

Naturally, you resented this meddling. But your loyalists, those willing to truly change the realm, were too few. Without these relics of the past, you'd never hold the kingdom. And for a king who had overthrown a Sultan, losing control meant death.

Your reforms stalled. Your appointments leaked before announcement. Your military investments were vetoed... You realized these aristocrats meant to make you a puppet in truth...

So you struck first. Royal guards stormed the golden chamber. Six nobles of the old blood were stabbed to death before the court. The hem of your magnificent kingly robes grew heavy with their blood.

It won you control of the court and a host of new enemies. The people, who had cheered the restoration, now turned against you. Lords who had sworn fealty denounced you as a tyrant. They named you "the Crimson Robe King" and "Starrenegade" in scorn.

The rest of your days were spent crushing dissent. The stars bore witness to your weary, numb existence.
