Text:
The Sultan fell before you.
You raised your sword high, and the people around you erupted in maddening cheers—an eviscerate hero, a new ruler who defeated the Sultan! This was an unprecedented moment of glory the empire had never known— mere mortals reaching such heights!
Soon, the enormous dragon head was placed above your throne—the empire's most skilled goldsmith created golden reliefs depicting the dragon slaying story, embedded beside the throne—they glared at the officials, scaring some timid ones to their knees the first time they saw the skull!
But you, the most extraordinary hero of mankind, you sat firmly on the throne. You held a longsword tempered by dragon breath, donned in a cloak of dragon scales. Standing beside you was your Vizier, Nawfal. Because your legitimacy seems overwhelmingly strong, the preparations you made for the throne were immensely thorough, the transition of governance was smoother than flipping a fish in a pan.
The Vizier wasn't used to this. They found themselves many tasks, suggesting the abolition of slavery, granting women equal political rights, removing Noble monopolistic rights, and establishing a Noble council—all suggestions the previous Sultan dismissed contemptuously, all seeming hard to execute.
However, when you proposed these suggestions to the officials, there was not a single objection! People stared in amazement at the dragon head, transfixed by your dragon scales... a legendary creature indeed existed, and it was slain by our Sultan! Anything a hero of such stature leads will surely succeed—abolishing slavery, reducing Noble profits, liberating women, forming a council—such compared to slaying a giant dragon are as simple as a child's game!
Thus, you easily and swiftly transformed the country. Ancient traditions were subtly replaced, new rules granted greater liberty to people; more smiles appeared, markets prospered, fewer children went hungry.
To this day, your sculptures still exist all over the continent, and people will always pray to you, hoping you will grant them the courage to overcome setbacks; they knelt before you, and when they stood up, they were filled with strength.
