The Sultan fell before you.

You raised your sword high, and the crowds around you erupted into wild cheers—an eviscerate hero, a new ruler who defeated the Sultan! The empire had never experienced a more glorious moment—mere mortals reaching unparalleled heights!

Soon, the enormous dragon head was placed atop your throne—the empire's most skilled goldsmiths crafted gold reliefs of the dragon tale, affixed beside your throne—they fixed a stern gaze on the courtiers; some timid officials doubled over in fear at their first sight of the head!

However, the satisfaction from defeating the dragon soon dissipated. You grew restless.... every time the court nobles quarreled ceaselessly and every time the scribes brought budgets and tables to complain, you became even more uneasy. Adila couldn't alleviate you either. She pushed for many transformative state policies; even when both of you strived to enforce them, they would be rebuffed with "The Sultan and Vizier only specialize in dragon slaying, lacking governance proficiency." Were it not for your restraint, Adila might have executed several ministers daring enough to rebut her.

At last, you resolved to take your army west to target a sea monster lurking within a trench—you cataloged all dignified hunts, this was the closest to your nation!

All the soldiers rejoiced, while nobles, officials, and ministers were left stupefied. You couldn't wait; you earned this Sultan seat through heroic acts—shouldn't you manufacture further legendary deeds?

First was the colossal sea monster, then came the golden-feathered serpent, followed by the Banshee's forest; your troops ravaged the world's terrifying dominions; if a local king, lord, or chief blocked your path, you'd obliterate their nation as well.

Endless challenges, endless conquests, endless carnage! Such existence aligns with your essence! Eternally driving forwards, continually evading the distant call behind:

"Return—you are the Sultan—with your own responsibilities—!"
