The Corrupter had coveted the divine throne of the material world for far too long. After millennia of imprisonment, He finally seized His chance. Had He succeeded in destroying the world, what would He have become? The God of Corruption and Chaos? The Eternal God? None could say now...



But Inal's wish tore Him apart. There were so many children in need of help! So many girls suffering! His divine power, His knowledge... everything that could leave a mark upon this world was scattered among all the children, and all the suffering girls yet to come.



Such pitifully thin shreds of divinity, divided among countless souls, could change almost nothing. Perhaps only a sliver of extra courage, the fleeting illusion that wounds hurt less, a stranger's hand more willing to reach out in kindness... But above all, it was the faintest whisper of hope, a wish cradled in the deepest corners of the human heart, urging them to survive...



And so, The Corrupter's wish was granted! He became a true god of this world at last! One with countless worshippers, enduring as long as humanity itself, as eternal as yearning!



..Only, like all wishes, He existed nowhere but in the spaces between breaths, nowhere but in the hearts of those who still dared to dream...
