The Corrupter perished, and with him fell the Magician and the wicked game... Their shattered remnants bled together, leaving one final stain upon your flesh.



In your eyes, that ink pulses still shifting, twisting... and one day, you shall see slaughter, tangled limbs and crowns in the depths. That was the bottomless hunger of men. And from it, the evil shall be born anew.



So before the dawn could break, you slipped from the city, taking only a twisted familiar. None know your path. Some claim you ended the accursed game with your death, snuffing the dark god's last ember of hope. Others whisper you wander still, chasing some frail chance to break the curse, while the god forces game after game upon you... but at least you have your pet. It snaps card after card with ease. It has no true life to extinguish, no true mind to shatter. A vessel to bear this torment, this malice... forever. What a mercy for the world.
