  "Look at this! I have to show you!" She thrust the white thing into your hands. You ran your fingers over it—fine-grained, warm, smooth, with an almost magnetic pull that made it hard to let go. "It's cow bone! My newly discovered gemstone!"
  
  You raised an eyebrow. Cow bone? Didn't every cow have plenty of it? Could that count as a gemstone? Weren't gemstones supposed to be rare, buried deep in the earth, unobtainable without effort...?
  
  "You must think it's too cheap, right? But who says that gemstones must be expensive? All the noble and common orders you helped me take on taught me something—what is dirt to a noble can be a wedding treasure for the poor. So now, might this cow bone that means nothing to you become a treasure in someone else's eyes?"
  
  You turned the bone over... its back was carved with lovely pomegranates, and little birds with cocked tails cheekily pecked at the seeds. The carving was undeniably beautiful, and the bone bore the craftsmanship perfectly...
  
  "Let's try it, Lord [player.name]." Jenna's eyes seemed to glow in the dim workshop.
