Without saying a word, the consort followed the beggar, vanishing at the palace's gate. Everyone hoped this was some jest.

The Sultan was not pleased, as the consort showed no emotion.

He ordered his High Constable to track them and recount their tale.

Years later, an old storyteller returned, narrating the beggar and consort's journey.

Even as cities fell to sands over millennia, their tale lived on, adapted and celebrated.

Upon realizing it wasn't a joke, she cried openly before the court, scratching guards and hitting their armors, cursing all courtesans and slaves and all who surrounds her.



When she was about to scold the Sultan himself, he darted his eyes toward his guards, who executed her post-haste. Of course, the corpse was still a reward that begger could not refuse.



It's said that the begger carry the beautiful corpse and left, no one knew where he went and what was next.



Long time after, people said that in the unknown graveyard outside the city, there is a gravestone with blossoming flowers, that was her grave. The stories about it, some of them terrifiying, some of them sexual, some of them brave, some of them all of it.

The beggar accepted the Sultan's gift. However, he did not take the slave's collar chain. He asked the Sultan to free the Slave Girl and allow them to marry.

The Sultan found the idea amusing. And the courtiers, in order to please the Sultan, gave many wedding gifts to the couple on the spot. It is said that the couple made full use of the wife's knowledge of the Palace, started running a small store for a benevolent noble lady, and lived a prosperous life ever after.
