Adila is back, more scars than skins, less eyes than Djinn, but she is alive.

In her trembling hand lies a large sulfur-colored gem beyond mortal imagination. Within the gem, flames flow as though beating heartbeats, as if the fury of an entire cosmo had been imprisoned in a palm-sized crystal.

"I exchanged my eye with it." Adila raises the gem in hand, "This is the Dragon's Eye. I couldn't kill it. It escaped into another dimension. My sword couldn't pierce the barrier. But, this world is now without dragons. I succeeded."

She proudly addresses everyone, "The dragon cursed our bloodline to bear only daughters, thinking it would strip us of our dragon-slaying destiny. But it was wrong – I've proven that a woman can defeat a dragon. We can achieve anything we set our minds to, become whoever we want to be. That curse? It backfired – it drove every Adila to take up the sword, to break both the curse and our shackles!"

Everyone present – the women, nobles, and anxious onlookers gathered at your home – gasps in awe. That gem seems to be from another world. Its appearance makes even the most skeptical admit that dragons existed, and Adila is the warrior who defeated the dragon and forced it into another dimension.

Refusing all help, she makes her way to you with dignified trudges. Then she kneels, offering the Dragon's Eye gem to you.

"None of this would have been possible without you, [player.name]. You have witnessed my despair, my courage, my struggle, my rise. I dedicate the dominion of the Dragon's Eye gem to you."

Adila is back. She is carried into your mansion, covered in blood and wounds, one eye gone, but she is alive.

In her trembling hand lies a large sulfur-colored gem beyond mortal imagination. Within the gem, flames flow like living fire, as if the fury of an entire world had been imprisoned in a palm-sized crystal.

"I exchanged my eye with it." Adila looks weak, yet immensely strong. She raises the gem in hand, "This is the Dragon's Eye. I couldn't kill it. It escaped into another dimension. My sword couldn't pierce the barrier. However, this world has no dragons now. I succeeded."

Her scarred hands clutch tightly a large sulfur-colored gem beyond mortal imagination. Within the gem, flames flow like living fire, as if the fury of an entire world had been imprisoned in a palm-sized crystal."

"I exchanged my eye with it." Adila says, looking desperately weak, as if clinging to consciousness just long enough to reach you, "This is the Dragon's Eye. I couldn't kill it. It escaped into another dimension. My sword couldn't pierce the barrier. However, this world has no dragons now. I succeeded."

Drawing a deep breath, Adila pauses. The flame that once burned in the dragon's eye now continues to blaze within her own.

Adila is carried into your mansion, unconscious and broken. Her once-proud armor is charred black, her body drenched in blood. Her hair and what remains of her clothing tell a tale of dragon's fire. You immediately summon the best physician, watching helplessly as she battles through days of burning fever. When she finally opens her eyes, nothing is the same.

The dragon took more than just her eye. Her arm and leg are mangled, and the devastating burns have left her confined to bed. She could no longer be a warrior.

"It seems I can no longer serve you," she whispers, her voice barely audible. Yet in the face of this cruel fate, Adila shows neither rage nor despair. No curses for the world, no hatred for the damn dragon. She simply closes her remaining eye, a strange peace settling over her features.

"But it doesn't matter," she says softly. "My daughter... or my daughter's daughter... One day, there will be an Adila stronger and luckier than I ever was. And I will be there for her, just as my mother and grandmother were there for me. What I couldn't finish, she will complete. One day."

Adila never came back.

A nearby shepherd found her sword, her armor, and fragments of a shattered skull. The dragon deliberately left these remains in a place frequented by humans, perhaps as a warning or a threat.

You deliver these remains to Adila’s mother and grandmother. The women take turns holding the charred skull, washing it with their tears.

“We will have daughters again,” says the grandmother, gripping the sword once more. “She will choose to be a warrior. She will face the trials. She will stand against the dragon. Even though I would give my life to bring my little Adila back – our daughters will fight, no matter what!”

They thank you politely before leaving with the remains.

Before they go, they leave Adila’s armor with you.
