According to The Book of Dragonslaying, dragons rarely leave footprints. These giant lizards are extremely cautious, knowing their tracks are too distinctive and easily recognized. As a result, they only rest on hard, unyielding rocks that leave no traces. But even the most careful plans have their flaws – they forget that the sulfurous fumes they breathe can also leave traces behind.



"I found stones bearing these traces near a habitat that matches the descriptions," she says excitedly. "This must be the dragon's lair. All I need to do now is confirm that the creature is inside, and then I can prepare to strike…"
