Extra

Samir tests every pain-relieving method you have brought him, refining, distilling, and purifying again and again. With Mahir's aid, his efforts grow all the more effective. Mahir brings both skill and enthusiasm, arriving with a full set of instruments—She has long entertained the idea of dabbling with more dangerous potions that could poison a person, or even bring a corpse back to life. Samir, however, tells her such potions are hardly miraculous: they merely speed wound closure, far weaker than the Water of Life and utterly incapable of restoring lost limbs.

Mahir ponders this for a moment and then suggests, "Then—shall we steal some Aether?"

"If you speak like that again," Samir replies gently but firmly, "I shall have to turn you out."

Well... it seems they ought to cooperate quite happily.

...Something about it feels a little off to you, but Samir clearly meant well.

Either way, from that day forward, even a fig-seller on the street could scrape together a few coins to buy a bottle that might save a child, a lover, or even themselves. The name Dew of [player.name] spreads quickly throughout the land.
