A Bloody Good Job
The jinn gleefully lays out its collection before you: teeth, fingernails, eyeballs, half an ear still wearing its earring, and... a scrap of scalp! It's had quite the haul following you around. Master [player.name] you're so good at it! More blood! More kills!

As it revels in the gore, you sense its power swelling with every drop of glee...

Not Yet Enough...
Veesa, like a heartbroken child, curls around its favorite toy and rolls across your desk. "I haven't had enough playtime..." If the treasure clutched to its chest weren't a human eyeball, it might almost be convincing.

Perhaps you could try satisfying it next time. After all, jinns are creatures of emotion, and when they're happy, their power grows.

Conditions:

Starving for Slaughter
Veesa is thrashing in your hair, desperate, starving for kill, for blood, for battle. And you've given it nothing. Not a drop. The jinn is wilting! You can feel it, the sinking mood, the power draining away. And now, every time you try to talk to someone, it won't stop making lewd shapes under your robe. Gods. Jinns.

Jinn's Story
That night, the moon hung full and bright again. You'd already gone to bed, but through the window, you caught a glimpse of someone moving in the courtyard.

You stepped outside and saw clearly now: it was Veesa. She floated in midair, arms pillowing her head, mist swirling around her as she gazed contentedly at the moon. She turned, saw you, and smiled. "Come sit with me, Master." A light gesture, and your feet felt lighter too. You could float now.

Once you'd grown used to it, Veesa pointed at the moon, closer now, it seemed. "Queen sealed the three of us in the lamp. It was our punishment." Seeing your hesitation, she counted on her fingers. "Besides me, there's Endry and Iliona. We three committed the same crime, so we were exiled together to this material world."

You tell her you know this. After all, you were the one who brought the lamp back from the jinn's realm.

"What the Queen showed you is not what we truly are. In the magical domain, where no one disturbs, there is no matter. Only spirit. Only wish. Power belongs to whoever holds the strongest wish. Wish is where it all begins, and where it all ends. We don't need bodies to chain us to the ground. We can fly upward until we reach the end of our wishing." She sighed. Then you rose together, drifting higher... When you woke again, you were in your bed. But your clothes were wet with dew, the kind that only gathers in the courtyard.
