Following the jinn's guidance, you come to a graveyard on the city's edge in that darkest hour just before dawn.
It doesn't belong to the Purist. So only the poor and outsiders without the faith's protection are buried here. You never even knew this place existed.
The jinn blesses your sight. Now you can see the faint glimmers beneath the graves, the shallow earth... You dig. And dig. Ducking behind crumbling headstones whenever the gravekeeper passes with his lantern...
When the light fades, you glimpse a name on a stone. The grave of — [player.name]! Panic takes you. You tear the grave open, hands shaking, because the corpse inside... it looks exactly like [player.name]!
The gravekeeper hears. He's running at you now, lantern raised. And in its light, his face is the spitting image of Lord [player.name] when angry! No time to think. You grab the body and run, blind with fear... until, somehow, you stumble back onto familiar streets. By sunrise, the corpse crumbles. All that's left is a ribcage forged of pure gold, a cage, perfect for your needs.
After that, you search again and again. That graveyard is nowhere to be found. And the jinn, try as it might, can never quite explain what happened. To it, it's simple. Obvious. Just the way things are.

The crumbling headstone, name long worn away. And when you pry open that glowing grave... Bones. Piled deep. Countless. Endless. As if the pit beneath has no bottom. As if you've punched through the crust of the world and glimpsed the peak of some hollow world's mountain.
Fear grips you. The gravekeeper could return any moment. You grab the nearest corpse, the one on top, and flee. The jinn, though, won't stop praising your choice. "Fine quality, this one."

Just then, the gravekeeper comes back. You grab the nearest corpse, the one on top, and bolt. The jinn, though, won't stop praising your choice. "Fine quality, this one."
Days later, the High Constable comes asking about a grave robbery. But neither the man who reported it nor the graveyard they're talking about is the one you went to. And the jinn, try as it might, can never quite explain what happened. To it, it's simple. Obvious. Just the way things are.
