Extra

Hunt Details Unknown
Zaki and Gullis had driven off the hunters, tying them up to force them to calm down.

Zaki explained that the bear was a mother with cubs and couldn't be killed. He also understood that the hunters needed money to feed their families, so he bought the bear for three gold coins.

Afterward, he and Gullis filled the trap with soil and wood, then stepped aside to watch as the mother bear led her cubs out and disappeared into the forest.

When they returned to the hunting grounds' edge, they recounted the story to everyone. The onlookers praised their actions—though surely some secretly would have preferred a bloodied trophy, they at least congratulated Zaki and Gullis aloud.

Zaki was beaming with pride, and though Gullis said nothing, you could see he agreed with your student's approach.

Hunt Details Unknown
Zaki and Gullis had failed to stop the hunters. They had only managed to save themselves. As they fled the hunters' ambush, the desperate roar of the mother bear echoed behind them.

They returned to the hunting grounds' edge dejectedly, where you were waiting... Still, they had at least tried, and that alone made it a fairly successful hunt.
