At Your Service

That evening, Fardak brings a man to see you.

The man has sharp eyes, wears tattered clothes, and walks with a slight tilt to one side, as if he's spent years carrying a sword at his hip.

Fardak calls this man "General," but as he attempts to introduce him further, the man raises his hand to stop him.

"I need to make sure I can trust this gentleman first," he says, gesturing toward you. "Otherwise, I reserve the right to decline, even if it's your order."

So, how do you prove yourself...?

Regular

You brought them to your secret training ground
You show them your elite troops, and the General asks if they can spar with the men he brought. You agree.

Those people are obviously nomads who have roamed the guesthouse, now organized into a troop by Fardak and the General. Achieving this in such a short period is extremely difficult, but compared to them, your troops are better trained and coordinated. The General nods frequently as he watches, finally raising his hand to halt the attack.

"You have proven to be a strong leader and shown that choosing you was a wise decision by Fardak." Saying this, he bows to you and then to Fardak, "I am a loyal servant of the Chieftain and General of this small troop. Out of Fardak's desire, you may employ our strength at the appropriate time."

Fardak puffs his chest, visibly proud.

Result:

You showed him your generosity
You present the general with countless magnificent suits of armor and razor-sharp swords, and generously gift him a large sum of military funds.

As the servants carry out the items one by one, the general looks stunned, then thoughtful, and finally bursts into delighted laughter.

"You have proven yourself a valuable ally and shown that Prince Fardak has excellent judgment," he says, nodding to you before bowing to Fardak nearby. "I am just the general of a humble, struggling force. My loyalty lies with a tribe that dreams of fairness and freedom. From now on, I will gladly await your commands."

His approval greatly pleases Fardak. Straightening his back, Fardak proudly tells you that his father sent this general to gather intelligence on him. They have already rallied the nomads wandering the Dark Alley and those near your guesthouse and are secretly training them in preparation for action.

Conditions:

Result:

You explained your plan in detail to the General
The General remains silent, but his eyes blaze with a terrifying flame.

After seriously listening, he finally speaks: "You have proven yourself a valuable ally and shown that Prince Fardak has excellent judgment," he says, nodding to you before bowing to Fardak nearby.
