When Seliman walks into the room and pours himself a drink, Nabhani whistles.
Faris curses, and Jabal wears that "I expected this" smile.
"So, for the first time, it seems, all of us gathered after our monarch no longer personally wages war?" The honor guards' duty is to protect the Sultan's safety, usually on the battlefield alongside him... They are among the few fully aware of the Sultan's capabilities. You sip your drink, hoping they'll share a brilliant strategy to defeat the Sultan.
They stare at each other for quite a while, exchanging glances and using secret hand signals only Iron Guard members would understand. Finally, Jabal stands up and speaks on behalf of his brothers:
"To conclude, you may defeat the Sultan's army, but don't expect to kill the Sultan with sheer numbers. Never underestimate that dejected tyrant on the throne... At least three times, he carved a path through impossible situations, turning certain defeat into victory when we were hopelessly outnumbered." Jabal pauses, deep in thought. "And I don't believe anyone can kill him in a fair fight – at least I can't. What do you think, Nabhani?" Nabhani shakes his head, while Seliman and Faris remain silent, refusing to even engage in the discussion.
You're somewhat frustrated by Jabal's intimidation... but he soon gives you a conclusion: "However, the fact that we're all sitting at this table shows our monarch has lost every quality worth serving... so we've decided to make a bet with you: We will return to Sultan's side, as long as you complete the first half of the rebellion, break through the walls and streets, enter the palace, and stand before our monarch – then we will sacrifice our Iron Guard's honor to help you finish the latter half of the rebellion from behind... We will help you kill the Sultan." After saying this, Jabal looks utterly exhausted. He gulps down his entire drink in one go, pats Seliman on the shoulder, and walks out of your house without another word.
Nabhani and Faris fill their glasses too. After drinking, they ignore all your questions and attempts to make them stay. With knowing smiles, they simply claim it's a sacred secret among the Iron Guard brothers, then leave. Only Seliman stays, sighing continuously and finishing all the remaining drinks with you.

Result:
This rite has no regular outcome.
Nabhani, relaxed as if attending a ball, fills both your glasses to the brim and jokingly wishes your rebellious endeavor success, hoping to see you in front of the Sultan – "my dear brother, we'll then be able to duel with swords, how romantic."
You don't stop his departure.
Conditions:
Result:
Faris didn't say anything as he left, only leaving behind a whistle and a note: If you succeed – blow this whistle and all my dogs will follow you... Please take care of them. I sincerely hope you triumph.
Conditions:
Result:
Jabal seems to age ten years overnight. He appears to be the only one tormented – "You may not understand, a warrior is sustained by oaths... if I can't abide by them, I am no longer myself... if you cease resisting... you are no longer yourself... there's no way to resolve this – let combat replace all debates."
After saying all this, he feels better, expressing hope that if you win, you'll pardon his family. You naturally understand what this warrior means: if you fail, he will protect your remaining family with his life.
Conditions:
Result:
Of course, Nabhani chooses you – he has already despaired of the Sultan, and even of the system of oaths and honor that produced the Honor Guard.
However, he is now as happy as a child; even while talking to you, his mind wanders as he gestures through fighting moves and imagines battle... He has been this joyful ever since realizing he might have a chance to cross swords with the Sultan. Though he tells you, in his current imaginings, he hasn't defeated the Sultan even once... but he'll keep trying.
Conditions:
Faris fears the Sultan, this is evident. He suddenly asks whether his dogs can be sent outside the city before battle, but then quickly denies himself...
You can only reassure him that he only needs to help you defeat the Sultan's troops... you will personally confront the Sultan. Clearly, this relieves him, but his gaze towards you becomes rather nuanced.
Conditions:
Among the Sultan's honor guards, Jabal has fought at his master's side more often than any other, and you eagerly hope he might reveal some of the Sultan's weaknesses... But he only warns you never to underestimate that dejected tyrant on the throne... He says that if you plan to wear the Sultan down with sheer numbers, he will almost certainly carve a bloody path through the chaos and escape. Even if you take the capital, the Sultan will rally more troops and drag you into a long and grueling civil war.
In his opinion, only a fair duel can take advantage of the Sultan's arrogance... But is there anyone who can truly defeat the Sultan in a fair duel? Anyway, he doesn't nominate himself.
Conditions:
Seliman tells you bluntly that he thinks about it, and you can't defeat the Sultan.
In the best-case scenario, you'll be able to rush in front of the Sultan and have your head cut off by his very hands - but that's enough, he'll do his best to help you get there, and he'll do his best to leave a wound on the Sultan's face.
